Watershed: Fall Kill
Please join us for a screening of “The Lorax” and “Swim for the River," as part of Dutchess Watershed Awareness Month (WAM)! "The Lorax," based on the book written by Dr. Seuss, discusses the limits of our natural resources. "Swim for the River" is a documentary on Chris Swain's journey to become the first person to swim the entire length of the Hudson River, from the Adirondacks to New York City. Along the way, Swain meets many people who are working to protect the Hudson River from a wide variety of threats. Educators from Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County will lead a discussion after the films.
